Disneyland Themed Birthday Party

For my Nephew's 2nd birthday the party theme was 'Disneyland'. The fabulous cake was created my my Mother, and she and I came up with the other goodies.
We wanted to create goodies that you would find in the park. Here we have Mickey Rice Krispies dipped in chocolate...

 Princess inspired cupcakes...
and "Tigger Tails" Chocolate dipped pretzels for the party favors.
And the cake! The center piece for the party! Every thing just turned out fantastic! And all the little ones had a blast!

Twist Flowers

 Twist Flowers.
Here is what you will need:
-Hot Glue gun
-Round Felt circle
(the size you want your flower to be)
-Strip if fabric
(you will need different lengths for different size flowers)
Here's how to do it!
1:  Cut your strips 1 inch wide or 2 inches, depending on how wide you want each layer of the twists to be.
First you start with a the strip of fabric. Fold fabric in half and then in half again, making 4 layers.
Fold one end of the strip over its self, leaving a tail, and a point

Fold the side next to the end, making an "arrow" point. (Tail and strip will be side by side)
Twist the end longer end of the strip, moving it over to the short end side, making a little knot type shape
(When twisting the fabric, always twist it out, away from the inside of the flower)
Hot Glue the knot to the center of your felt circle
Squeeze a line of hot glue around the the knot, working in a circle.
Twist the strip outward and lay on the glue.
Keep working around and around until you get to the edge of your felt circle.

When you get to the end, turn the rest of the fabric to the back of the circle and glue it down.
Here's the finished project!
Here's another flower I did this one was done with a 1" width.

Hope you have a good time making your flowers!

Beach Photography

Last summer my Aunt and Uncle invited me to stay with them and my cousin for a week at the beach. We had such a blast, and the photo ops were amazing.  Here's a few from my album.
