Easter Bunny Wreath

After looking through my Mom's Easter decor we found that she did not have any thing for the front door. So, I went to work and surprised her with a wreath. Here's what I did:
- Bunny- cardboard wrapped in yarn,
-eggs made of twine dipped in watered down glue  + food coloring.
-A little bit of fabric and here you are!
Fun Easter wreath. Total cost $3.00!

"Good Bye" Cake

Nothing says "We'll Miss You" then a cake! For this farewell I needed to create a fun cake that focused more on the taste then look! So what tastes better then a Chocolate cake with Chocolate icing! I used Chocolate Icing, and Fondant to decorate. I made the bow the night before and let it harden, then the day of the party iced the cake with chocolate, then cute out circles and put them directly on the the cake using vanilla flavoring for the glue. I then cute out the letters using Wilton Letter cutters, placed the bow on top and it's ready to go! Every loved it and if made a great farewell!

Tornado Cake!

What kind of cake would you make for a Celebration of recovery from a tornado? A tornado cake! A year after a tornado ripped through there church, Pastor Tim asked me to  create a tasty treat for there "Year Later" Party, celebrating there new building.

So here's the finished project. A tornado ripped cake on one side and a new build on the other side.
And of course no party is complete with out cupcakes! And these swirling tornado cup cakes were a hit!

What to make a teen boy?

Ever wonder what you could make for a teen boy? I love to be able to make all of my Christmas gifts each year and now that my brother is older it has gotten hard. I searched on pintrest for ideas and this is what I came up with. It's "Avengers" art work. Here's what I used:
                      -Canvas
-Pencil
&
-Paint pens
The first thing I did was make five sections on my canvas. Than started drawing out each section. I started with the hands and made sure I kept them all about the same size. After all of the drawing and sizing was done I started to paint. Let dry and it's done! It took me several hours to finish, but it was worth the time!

Dresser Up-cycle

Dresser Up-cycle

What I used:
-Paint
-2 Paint brushes
-Sand Paper
-Kilz
-Clear Polyurethane Satin
1: I  removed  the  top  drawer  and  pulled out the  track. Then I sanded down the ruff edges.
2:   Making sure there is no dust start by painting the dresser with Kilz.  Make  sure  you are  outside  it  will smell really bad!
3: Make sure you give the Kilz plenty of time to dry, then,  you can start with the paint.
4: Second coat, once the first layer has dried fully do one more.
5: Once the second coat is fully dry start with the Polly, make sure that you use even strokes to keep it smooth. Again make sure you are in a VERY WELL Ventilated area.
6: Add one more layer of polly. After this layer has dried leave the piece of furniture outside over night to allow the smell to leave the piece.

And there you have it! Hope your project turns out!
